There is an opportunity to help out the West Virginia flood victims through a clothing drive this weekend.

Williams Garage Door in Elizabethton is planning the drive for Saturday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. They will be in the parking lot behind the business accepting boxes of clean clothes.

Owner Lance Williams started looking at ways to help out after hearing about the floods. Williams said is able to relate to the flood victims due to a similar flood in our area.

"I live in Hampton,” he said. “About twenty years ago, we had a flood there that was pretty devastating. I can't imagine what those people are going through."

Williams is currently talking with some churches to find the best way to deliver the donations.

Williams Garage Door is located on 405 E. Elk Ave., Elizabethton, TN 37643.
