In early 2017, I led the transition of the Milligan Stampede website from Wix to Wordpress. I spent about a week building the website including writing HTML, PHP, and CSS code to customize the site template, design, mobile layout, and to automate many site functions including beat pages, video thumbnails, team bios, contact forms, etc. I also installed the site on the Stampede's web host, setup automatic updates, updated name server information, and wrote an instruction manual for future webmasters. I additionally created a spreadsheet and process for transferring content from the old website to the new one.
